In April 2018 the AFCI and The Hollywood Reporter entered into a formal partnership to ensure greater connectivity between Membership and industry. The partnership operates across 4 primary areas:

1. discounted advertising package rates for AFCI Members
2. a monthly column for the AFCI in which Members and their regions are spotlighted
3. the launch and hosting of The Global Directory – a one-stop platform for filmmakers across the globe looking for Commissions, studio facilities, equipment rental and key crew anywhere in the world, and
4. ongoing collaboration on events like the highly successful Physical Production Power Brunch, held at the W Hotel on March 1^st 2018.

Prior to this, the AFCI produced Beyond Cinema Magazine.
