Rodrigo Guerrero is a partner and producer at AG Studios Colombia, an audiovisual development and production company founded in 2014 in Bogota. Since then, AG Studios Colombia has been in charge of the production of 12 feature films, and 10 television series, for clients such as Telemundo, Amazon Studios, Netflix, Hulu, Paramount Television, Sony Pictures, MGM, and Lionsgate, among others.  Rodrigo has creative and production credits on 29 feature films and 10 series.

Ana Pineres

General Manager, Vice President and Executive Producer of CMO Producciones and CMO Internacional. 

She is the current COO of CMO Producciones and CMO International, Executive and Creative Producer of successful series such as: Pálpito (#1 on Netflix), Pasión de Gavilanes 2 (NBC Universal Telemundo), La Venganza de Analía (#1 in ratings and Top 10 Netflix), La Niña (Caracol TV), among others. Brian O'Leary

Tax Consultant, Motion Picture Association (MPA)

Brian O’Leary is a senior tax counsel and finance executive specializing in the media and entertainment  sector, with expertise in tax and incentives policy, project management, advocacy before government  authorities and tax audit and controversy resolution. Over the course of more than 27 years in practice  Brian has developed a specialty working with governments to generate economic development support  while minimizing tax impacts for capital projects, film, television and streaming productions and ongoing business operations. Brian has worked extensively with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic and  project-specific objectives in APAC, EMEA, LATAM & North America. 

Brian’s work has earned him international recognition as an expert in tax policy, incentives, and  economic development, resulting in requests for his participation on government advisory councils and  panels in multiple U.S. states as well as the province of Ontario, Canada. Brian also served for more  than fifteen years on the Board of the National Multistate Tax Symposium and undertakes numerous  speaking engagements on matters of credits and incentives, film financing and taxation.

Dago Garcia

Social Commentator

Dago García is a Social Communicator from Externado University of Colombia. He has written and produced more than forty series and soap operas such as “Pedro El Escamoso”,

“Pecados Capitales” (written in partnership with Luis Felipe Salamanca), and “La saga, family business”, among others. He is the author and director of several plays: “Hombre con hombre, mujer con mujer”, “Pretty but complicated” and “The illustrated history of sex” (with César Betancourt), “Cepeda en tablas”, among others.

He has been awarded by several national and Latin American media. In 1995 he created the film production and distribution company Dago García Producciones.

He has been producer, screenwriter and director of more than 40 films to date, and several of them have been the highest grossing films in the history of Colombian cinema, such as the saga of “El Paseo”. His film “El Olvido que Seremos” (The Oblivion We Will Be) was on the official list at the Cannes Film Festival and won Best Ibero-American Film at the Goya and Platino Awards. He is also co-producer of films such as “Todos tus muertos”, “El valle sin sombras”, “Pájaros de verano”, “Matar a Jesús”, “Monos”, and “El abrazo de la serpiente”, which was nominated for an Oscar, among others.

Diana Bustamente

Producer, filmmaker and programmer. Diana has consistently contributed to the international recognition of Colombian cinema, producing films such as “Los Viajes del Viento” by Ciro Guerra, “El vuelco del Cangrejo” by Oscar Ruiz, (Berlín 2010), “La Sirga” by William Vega (Cannes 2012), Los Hongos by Oscar Ruiz (Locarno 2014) and “La tierra y La Sombra” by Cesar Acevedo (Golden Camera at Cannes 2015), and she was the producer of Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s latest film “Memoria” – the Jury Prize winner at the Cannes Film Festival 2021. Diana was the artistic director and programmer of the Cartagena International Film Festival (2014-2018). She has curated programs for institutions such as Cinematheque of Bogotá, the French Film Festival, the Goethe Institute and the Biarritz Festival. She collaborates as an independent curator in several institutions and galleries.  Her work has focused on promoting cultural exchanges through film.

Luis Lizarralde

Licensing Manger, Sony Music Entertainment

Musician and lawyer with more than 7 years of experience in the music industry as an active performer and composer, advisor to labels and independent artists, and executive in a major record company. He is currently Director of Business Development for Sony Music Entertainment Andes Region, where he is in charge of developing and executing projects between artists and repertoire of Sony Music’s cast, with brands, advertisers and content creators in general.

Harold Jimevez Giraldo

Executive Producer Worldwide, 36 Grados

Born on September 25, 1990, he is a Colombian director and producer of music videos. CEO and founder of the company 36 GRADOS. Harold at 30 years old has directed and produced around 300 music videos of the most important artists in Latin music, such as J Balvin, Maluma, Nicky Jam, Juanes, Anitta, Luis Fonsi, Karol G, among others.

In his long career he has achieved the most significant awards in Latin music such as MTV Video Music Awards with “Mi Gente” by J. Balvin, GRAMMY LATINO with “Pa ́ Dentro” by Juanes as producer, LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS with “Medicina” by Anitta, PREMIO JUVENTUD with “Sigo extrañándote” by J. Balvin and 3 HEAT awards by HTV. He has also produced some commercials for the most important brands in Colombia.

Julio Chavezmontes


Julio Chavezmontes is a renowned Mexican producer and screenwriter, winner of the Best Screenplay award at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and a two-time nominee for the AMACC’s Ariel Award. He has produced more than 20 films, many of which have been presented at major film festivals around the world, including Sundance, Berlin, Cannes, Venice and Toronto among others. His productions have received multiple awards, most recently the Best Director (“Annette”) and Jury Prize (“Memoria”) at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, and the Palme d’Or for “Triangle of Sadness” at the 2022 edition. 

Jay Roewe

Senior Vice President, Incentives & Production Planning,  HBO/HBO MAX/Warner Brothers Discovery 

Jay Roewe is Senior Vice President, Incentives & Production Planning & at HBO/HBO MAX. He  helps manage the physical production planning of films, limited series, and scripted series filmed  all over the world and oversees the film & tv incentives both domestically and internationally for  all productions. 

Jay is a 40-plus year veteran of film and television production, with experience from news to  television to feature film production. In 2019, Jay was given a Doctor of Letters Honorary Degree from Ulster University for his services to the Screen Industry in Northern Ireland for his work on Game of Thrones.

Amanda Blumenthal

Founder, Intimacy Professionals Association (IPA)

Amanda Blumenthal is the founder of Intimacy Professionals Association (IPA), which is a global leader in the training and certification of intimacy coordinators. She helped to found the field of intimacy coordination and has worked on projects such as Euphoria (HBO), The L Word (Showtime), The White Lotus (HBO), and Carnival Row (Amazon). IPA has partnered with organizations such as Amazon, Netflix, Sony, and the New Mexico Film Office to train intimacy coordinators in emerging film markets with no local IC’s. In addition, Amanda is a leader in the SAG-AFTRA Intimacy Coordinator Initiative to create standards and protocols for IC work, she consulted with the Producer’s Guild of America on developing materials for their Independent Production Safety Initiative Program, and she contributed to the Time’s Up Guide to Working in Entertainment.

David Cohen

Creative Director, Variety Content Studio

David S. Cohen is an award-winning journalist and content producer. He was a reporter, editor and producer for Variety for 25-odd years and he has covered arts, science and culture for print outlets around the world. He won SoCal Journalism awards for his Variety reporting and for producing the “Artisans” video episode: “The Dangerous Art of Aerial Cinematography.” He is the author of six books on films and filmmaking, including the acclaimed “Screen Plays: How 25 Screenplays Made It to a Theater Near You—for Better or Worse.” His entertainment credits include acting and directing in Off-Off-Broadway theater; assisting on casting for Broadway and feature films; and writing for television, including an episode of “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” and a documentary on Walter Matthau. 

Stefanie Rauscher

Born and raised in Bavaria, Germany, Stefanie studied Theater, Film- and Media Studies as well as East Asian Studies in Vienna and Beijing. She speaks Mandarin Chinese and is specialized in Chinese film. Before joining the Vienna Film Commission as project manager in 2015 she worked for the German Goethe Institute in Beijing. Stefanie has been deputy managing director of the Vienna Film Commission since 2019. She lectured on film tourism at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and on Chinese film at the Universität Hamburg. In 2009 she published a research monograph on the work of director Zhang Yimou.

Lisa Day

Lisa Day has worked at the intersection of media and the environment for her entire career.  She is currently a Manager of Environmental Sustainability at The Walt Disney Company, where her primary role is developing and overseeing sustainability on the feature films, television shows, and documentaries produced by the company’s many studios. She is also responsible for helping to ensure The Walt Disney Company meets ts 2030 Goals, including Net Zero emissions, procuring 100% zero carbon electricity, and sending zero waste to landfill.

Lisa is also one of the founders of the Sustainable Production Alliance (SPA), a consortium of the world’s leading film, television and streaming companies dedicated to advancing sustainability in the industry and, in partnership.  She is also a founder, in partnership with the Producers Guild of America PGA Green Committee, of GreenProductionGuide.com, a online resource for filmmakers internationally offering free tools, a vendor guide, and other resources to help shows understand and reduce their environmental impacts.

Lisa earned her B.A. from New College and her JD from the UCLA School of Law.

Hans Dayal

Production Manager/Location Manager With an ambition to work in Hollywood spurred by his immigrant father’s love for the Golden Age of Hollywood and now a twenty year veteran of the Western Canadian film scene.

Hans is a father of two, production manager and location manager who lives for his children’s giggles and a big bowl of cinema popcorn. Hans is passionate for the craft and processes in film production and especially developing his craft in the vast and different landscapes in the Great White North. He has worked on films for all the major Hollywood studios, from Disney to Netflix, with directors such as Robert Zemeckis, Joseph Kosinski, Zack Snyder and Steven Spielberg.

He is the chair of the newly formed Director’s Guild of Canada (DGC) – BC Sustainable Climate Action Committee, a DGC – BC District Council Board member and sits on the Creative BC Clean Energy Committee.

Natalia Barboasa

Promotion, Medellin Film Commission

Promotion at Medellín Film Commission. Audiovisual Producer, Master in Cultural Management and professor. 12 years of experience in the film and tv industry, working in local, regional and international projects (Jack Ryan S2, Documental “El Niño de Medellín”, JBalvin, EchoTeam 3). Since 2013, she has joined audiovisual training projects, where citizenship education, storytelling and social skills development converge.

Alejandra Espinosa Uribe

Colombian Tourism Expert

Writer, bookseller and painter. Studied Literature in Bogotá, Colombia where she is originally from. In 2016 she moved to  Barichara, a little town at the edge of the Chicamocha Canyon in the dramatic Colombian Andes landscape. There, working as a cultural tour guide she met the Walt Disney Animation’s directors and producers and became Cultural Consultant for Disney’s Encanto contributing on Colombian history, Cultural and Rural representation for the following 4 years. In 2019 she opened Aljibe Librería, the first bookshop in the town’s history and the only one in more than 60 square miles where she hopes to help decentralize access to books in Colombia where few rural bookshops are found. 

She collaborated as researcher and writer in the published history books Contracultura (Aguilar, 2016) Brújula para el Mundo Contemporáneo (Aguilar, 2018) and she is the co author of Revoluciones (Aguilar, 2020). David Melo

Economic Consultant

David is a consultant in creative economies and cultural policies. He has been Vice Minister and Director of Cinematography at the Ministry of Culture, marketing and communications manager of Invest in Bogota, deputy director of Book and Development of CERLALC, advisor to the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo, director of the International Window of the Arts of the Ibero-American Theater Festival. He is a civil engineer from the Universidad Javeriana, with a specialization in Social Evaluation of Projects from the Faculty of Economics of the Universidad de los Andes.

Donne Dawson

Film Commissioner, Hawai’i State Film Commission

Donne Dawson is the Hawai‘i Film Commissioner. She has served the State of Hawai‘i in that capacity for the past 20 years. Dawson is currently First Vice Chair on the AFCI Executive Board and was involved in the planning of this year’s Cineposium event in Bogotá. Dawson, who has earned AFCI’s certified film commission designation, has committed her career to building a strong sustainable film industry in Hawai‘i as manager of the Hawai‘i Film Office and looks for ways to continually share her knowledge, expertise and insights with her film commission colleagues around the world.

Dawson’s office also manages the Hawai‘i Film Studio on the slopes of Diamond Head, current home of NCIS Hawai‘i, the CBS television show now in its second season. Over the years, Dawson has secured nearly $15 million in capital improvement funds to renovate the Hawai‘i Film Studio, the only state owned and operated facility of its kind in the United States. Currently Dawson is working with Hawai‘i’s indigenous filmmaking community to produce a Hawaiian Handbook—comparable to the New Zealand Brown Book–a culturally based protocol guide for producers filming in Hawai‘i. 

Prior to serving as state film commissioner, Dawson held positions as journalist, producer and media relations professional. She was born and raised in Honolulu and is a lifelong student of hula and Hawaiian language and history.

Juliana Moreno

Film/TV Producer

Juliana is a Colombian Film and TV Producer with wide-ranging knowledge of original projects from inception to completion, as well as the execution of production services for studios like Paramount, Skydance, Netflix, Sony, STX, among others. Currently works at Netflix as Director of Production Management for LATAM participating in tent pole projects like One hundred Years of Solitude.  

Moreno served as Head of Physical Production and Producer at Dynamo, leading production company in Latinamerica in shows like The Great Heist, El Chapo, Triple Frontier, Mile 22, Loving Pablo, among others. Also worked for several years with the renowned director Sergio Cabrera and writer/producer Ramon Jimeno developing and producing documentaries, films and series such as Everybody leaves, Cinco Impulsos, Mr. Trance and the Boomerang Tv joint venture. She has also written for publications like Bacánika, Avianca, Pesquisa, Luxury y La Hoja de Bogotá as part of her journey as a journalist.

Silvia Echeverri

Film Commissioner, Colombian Film Commission

Silvia Echeverri is the head of the Colombian Film Commission at Proimágenes Colombia since 2009. She has been involved in the design and implementation of the incentive system for audiovisual production in Colombia. She´s beginning her third term as a member of the Board of Directors of the AFCI and is also part of the Board of Directors of the Latin America Film Commission Network. She is an economist from the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia and has a master’s degree in economic law from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

Ricardo Cantor

Director, Bogota Film Commission

Ricardo Cantor is the National University film and television producer.  He received his undergraduate diploma from the Universidad de los Andes in Market Intelligence and has a Masters in Cultural Management from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University.

His producer credits include features EL RESQUICIO (Colombia/Argentina) and LA SEED OF SILENCE (Colombia.)  Prior to producing OBLIVION (Mexico/Colombia) in 2014 he led the implementation and creation of the Bogota Film Commission.  From 2016-2018 he was the Advisor at the Bogota Cinematheque. From 2018-2020 he was an Advisor to the Directorate of Audiovisuals, Cinema and Interactive Media of the Ministry of Culture and, since 2021, has been the Director of Audiovisual Arts of Idartes.    He’s been a jury of the Convocation of the Fund for Cinematographic Development (FDC) and the National Incentives Program of the Ministry of Culture. 

The Gap, his first feature film, received national and international awards and had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea.

Marnie Gee

Film Commissioner, Creative BC

As BC Film Commissioner and Director of Production Services, Marnie Gee leads the Provincial  Film Commission team at Creative BC to deliver motion picture industry services, from  locations marketing and physical production resource support, industry and community  relations and overseeing Reel Green™ and Creative Pathways™. She works to sustain and grow  ongoing opportunity and collaboration for the network of industry and government  stakeholders who together contribute to the motion picture industry’s success in British  Columbia. With 20+ years of experience in location and production support in the film and  television industry, Marnie has worked throughout B.C. and brings specialized knowledge of  local communities and geographical areas as well as a strong understanding of the dynamics  between communities and motion picture production. She joined the AFCI Board of Directors in  January 2022, and works closely with Canadian Film Commission and Film Office partners and co-created the National Reel Green Committee. Her commitment to collaboration and  inclusiveness is driven by a strong belief that “we’re better together”.

Adrian Mitchell

Film Commissioner, Oslo Film Commission

Adrian Mitchell has a track record from the film industry ranging from production manager, location scout and manager, distribution and as a producer. Mitchell has also done startup in educational gaming, ran a craft-beer brewery, and with some friends built and ran two local bars focusing on craft spirits from Latin America.

Mitchell started The Oslo Film Commission in 2018, and is still heading the one-man-office. During his buildup of the Film Commission he also set up The Oslo Film Fund, a local investment fund which supports local audiovisual productions emphasizing and focusing on sustainability, diversity and local stories. Oslo Film Commission is a part of The Vice Mayor’s office in The City of Oslo.

Marjorie Galas

SVP, Membership & Industry Relations, AFCI

Is a freelance journalist as well as the SVP, Membership and Industry Relations for AFCI – the Association of Film Commissioners International. Prior to joining AFCI, Galas was the Editor at Variety 411 where she managed the 411 e-newsletter, web and marketing content. As a reporter, her stories have been featured in Variety, Variety 411, Below the Line News, Creative Content Wire and Tradeshow Week. Her foray in the entertainment business began in Boston where she worked as an edit tutor at Boston Neighborhood Network, an Assistant Stage Manager for the Sugan Theater and a Prop Master for Boston Conservatory.  She holds a BFA in Studio Art from Emmanuel College, Boston.

Yvett Merino

YVETT MERINO (Producer) first came to Walt Disney Animation Studios more than 25 years ago, and has worked in a variety of production capacities on some of the most popular animated titles of all time. She most recently was a producer of the BAFTA and Oscar®-winning animated feature “Encanto”.  

Among her other credits, she served as production manager on the Academy Award®-winning, “Big Hero 6,” as well as the Oscar®-nominated “Moana.” Launching her Disney Animation career in the Technology department, she moved into the world of Production as a supervisor on “Tangled.” She went on to work with the Stereo team on “The Lion King 3D,” and with various departments on “Wreck-It Ralph.” 

Merino lives in Los Angeles, Calif., with her family. She holds an MBA from Loyola Marymount University and an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Maria Fernanda Cristo

Producer, Dynamo

Maria Fernanda graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 2015. She majored in TV, Radio, and Film and completed two minors in Art History and Marketing. After graduation, Maria moved to NYC, where she started her career at Dynamo. Simultaneously, she worked on season 41 of Saturday Night Live as Script Coordinator.

Eventually Maria transferred to Dynamo’s headquarters in Bogota, where she began her production service career in projects such as Narcos Season 3 (Gaumont & Netflix), Mile 22 (STX Films), Gemini Man (Skydance & Paramount), Triple Frontier (Netflix), Echo 3 (Keshet & Apple) and Shadow Force (Lionsgate). Currently, she spearheads Dynamo’s production services department and is focused on bringing more foreign production to Colombia.

Diana Diaz Soto trained as a social communicator with an emphasis on educational communication from the Javeriana University as well as a educational communication specialist at the Central University before receiving her Master’s Degree in Cultural Studies from Javeriana University.  After graduating, Diana directed the children’s station Colorin colorRadio (Caracol) and was a pioneer in the creation of a team of delegate producers of Senal Colombia between 2004-2010. 

Currently, Diana is responsible for strategic projects at Canal Capital and is a representative of the directors before the National Film Council (CNACC) as well as a convergent editor for Nanook’s Nightmare, a magazine published by the Colombian Documentary Association (ALADOS). 


Magdalena La Rotta

Award-winning producer, director and strategic executive with over three decades of senior level experience in content creation, direction and production in the media business as a corporate executive and as an independent producer and director. Proven capabilities in content creation, storytelling, analysis, product development and production with a focus on innovation, quality and efficiency. Team-building leader with a successful track record in design production and direction of customized content for specific audiences. Clear understanding of narrative, structure, character-building and visual imagery.

Sabrina Farji

First Vice-President of the Argentine Film Academy, Delegate of Iberoamerican Audiovisual Women for CIMA (Spain)

Sabrina is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Asociación La mujer y el Cine, Member of DAC, CAPPA, Professor of Screenwriting and Audiovisual Directing, Consultant and Tutor of audiovisual projects.  She regularly teaches workshops and training courses in Film and Television Scriptwriting and Film and Television Directing. She regularly serves as a jury member for festivals and development funds such as Ibermedia, Polo Audiovisual de Cordoba, among others. Project tutor and trainer. She is the founder of "Zoelle Producciones" dedicated to the production of films and miniseries.

She has directed and produced films and miniseries such as: EX CASADOS (2021), Tropico (2020), the miniseries Fronteras premiere TELEFE, El Paraíso, Martin Fierro nominated miniseries, Eva y Lola, La voz. Direction and development of the series MUJERES DE CINE and MujerCINE, both FOMECA Award, among other prestigious projects. Desmadre, fragmentos de una relación (2018), Los Felices (2019). She is currently finishing the feature film “Mariquita”.

Camila Wilches

VP, Business Affairs, Sony Pictures Entertainment

Born and raised in Popayán, Colombia, Camila has been living in the USA for the last seventeen-years, where, after obtaining a master’s degree in International Laws at Georgetown University, she has been working in the Entertainment Industry.

Since 2011, Camila has worked at Sony- Pictures-Television in the original productions’ division for Latin-America and the US-Hispanic markets. Vice-President of the Business Affairs department (leading and supervising such department’s team) and member of the Senior-executive Committee for the Latin-American Production division, roles which require her strategic advice to the leader of the operation, the heads of key areas (Content, Production, Operations/Assets, Marketing/PR) and also a wide range of responsibilities, such as structuring key projects, negotiating deals and be involved in the storytelling-process.

In 2014, the Colombian government awarded her the distinction of being one in a selection of one-hundred outstanding Colombian nationals overseas. This was designed to honor Colombian migrants with an outstanding career overseas, all deemed to be laudable ambassadors of the country. President (2010-2018) and Peace Nobel Laureate Juan- Manuel Santos handed over the award.

Before working in Sony, Camila worked for five-years at Telemundo-Internacional, a division of NBCUniversal as Director of the Business and Music Affairs department.
