Dive into a discussion, debate, and ideation session on the latest challenges facing the industry today. This session highlights the power of disruption to foster innovation, bringing together key players from across the sector. Participate in this AFCI-first event, “Collaborate to Create,” in partnership with our event collaborators, Filament. Experience creative facilitation combined with live illustration and unique methods proven to help groups leverage their collective wisdom, discover unexpected insights, and achieve significant outcomes.

Data from this event will be utilized to create AFCI’s inaugural Global Insights Paper, with attendees gaining exclusive early access before it becomes available for purchase in the following months.

Access to an all hands-on session on Sunday which provides an opportunity for producers to understand the application process required for tax incentive consideration and exclusive access to the Sunday Reception, an informal setting that will allow film commissioners, location managers and producers to network.

This is a highlight for those interested in the cutting edge of production technology and trends. Enjoy a 25% discount on AFCI membership for any purchases made before July 31. This pass provides full access to all sessions, panels, and networking events on Monday and Tuesday. It includes entry to all major receptions—Sunday’s Reception, as well as the receptions on Monday and Tuesday.  Morning and afternoon breaks plus lunch will be provided on both days.

Full payment is required immediately to confirm registration. Upon processing your payment, an AFCI receipt will be issued for your records. If you encounter unforeseen circumstances and need to cancel, a refund or credit note will be available, minus a 15% administrative fee, until July 30th. Please note, due to contractual obligations with the hotel for food and beverage services, cancellations on or after July 31st, 2024, will not be eligible for refunds. In cases of illness or unexpected personal matters, registrants are permitted to transfer their tickets within their organization or company. Additionally, if the Los Angeles County Health Department mandates closures that prevent AFCI Week from taking place, attendees will be offered a credit option.

By purchasing a ticket to AFCI Week 2024, you grant the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) and its authorized representatives permission to photograph and video record your presence at the event. You further agree that all material captured may be used in any form as part of any future media, such as promotional material and/or content productions, without compensation to you. You understand that all photography, filming, and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent given by you by entering the event premises.
