MARCH 30 - APRIL 3, 2020 | EVENTS SCHEDULE
The first two days of AFCI Week 2020 will be focused on professional development. Members are invited to roll up their sleeves and engage with other members and select industry experts who will be brought in to present on specific topics. AFCI is currently having conversations with a number of industry professionals to discuss the inclusion of training sessions that will form part of the two day professional development program.
Over the two days there will also be a series of member-to-member presentations so members can learn from one another and gain deeper insight into how other territories are responding to critical issues. Topics for discussion include the surge in content and the need for workforce development/training and infrastructure (studios and alternate studio space). These are issues facing every territory.
Tuesday will be the second of a two day professional development program. Please see the overview of Day 1 for a sense of the content which will be offered across the two days.
Tuesday evening there will be an industry reception with executives from both the film and television sector. All attendees will have name badges to make for ease of networking.
